Depressed or depressing poetry or verse from a nice girl

I'm not quite sure what you call this. My cousins daughter wrote this and it fit how I used to feel frequently. She has at least one more I love and I'll put it up another day.

This one is titled 'I'm All Alone'

In this unhappy world day by day it's not kill, just play
Down in the bottom of the lake thats where I lay
It happened so quick there was no pain
They chased me all day, all night
They caught me, full of fright
their hands oh so tight
that the last thing I saw
was a quick flash of light
They said, no pain, no gain.

So now I sit here
down in the bottom of the lake
that's wjere I lay
It's not killing, just play
(so they say)

Down here
its oh so soft
with out fear
I'll finally be able to sleep forever
forever in place.

And when I remember
that in the unhappy world
the sun came up
and scorched you to death
and day after day
not kill, but supposedly play
and now
down in the bottom of the lake,
that's where I lay
or hanging so lowly and free
on that beam is me

Or I'm running, running in a field
of give and take
never love, always hate
I have no crime
so they chase me til I die
so now I sit
down in the bottom of the lake
that's where I lay,
not kill, just play
(that's what they say)

Down here it's so safe
I'l sleep here forever,
forever without fear.
